Mechnikov, board member of Russian Society of Endoscopic Surgeons and the Pirogov Surgical Society, honorary member of Serbian Medical Association and Russian Society of Colorectal Surgeons, member of the International  Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA),  European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), European Society of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES).
