Выполнение протезирующих вариантов паховой герниопластики привело к снижению частоты рецидивов грыж и одновременному появлению специфических осложнений, связанных с установкой имплантатов. Это диктует необходимость всесторонней оценки результатов применения имплантатов из различных материалов у больных паховыми грыжами.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель исследования</title><p>Цель исследования. Сравнить результаты лечения больных паховыми грыжами с использованием титановых и полипропиленовых имплантатов, оценить репаративные процессы в зоне установки имплантатов.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. В исследование включено 89 больных паховой грыжей: 50 из них оперированы с применением титанового сетчатого имплантата (1 группа), 39 полипропиленового (2 группа). Сравнивали продолжительность операции, частоту осложнений, сроки послеоперационного лечения, качество жизни, качество периимплантационного рубца.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Продолжительность операции была значимо больше в 1 группе (78 мин. против 64, р&lt;0,05). Через 6 месяцев частота хронической боли в паху была значимо меньше в 1 группе (6 % против 15,4 %, р&lt;0,05), 6 % особенно у пациентов молодого и среднего возраста. Через 12 месяцев после операции у 28,6 % пациентов 2 группы в периимплантационном рубце выявлены признаки продолжающегося репаративного процесса. Различий по качеству жизни между группами не выявлено.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. При лечении больных паховыми грыжами предпочтительно использование сетчатых имплантатов из титана.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. The implementation of prosthetic variants of inguinal hernioplasty has led to a decrease in the frequency of hernia recurrences and the simultaneous occurrence of specific complications associated with the installation of implants. This dictates the need for a comprehensive assessment of the results of using implants from various materials in patients with inguinal hernias.</p></sec><sec><title>The aim of the study</title><p>The aim of the study. Was to compare the results of treatment of patients with inguinal hernias using titanium and polypropylene implants, to evaluate the reparative processes in the implant installation area.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The study included 89 patients with inguinal hernia: 50 of them were operated on using a titanium mesh implant (group 1), 39 polypropylene implant (group 2). The duration of surgery, the frequency of complications, the duration of postoperative treatment, quality of life, and the quality of peri-implantation scar were compared.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The duration ofthe operation was significantly longer in group 1 (78 minutes versus 64, p0,05). After 6 months, the frequency of chronic groin pain was significantly lower in group 1 (6 % vs. 15,4 %, p0,05), especially in young and middle-aged patients. 12 months after surgery, 28,6 % of group 2 patients showed signs of an ongoing reparative process in the peri-implantation scar. There were no differences in the quality of life between the groups.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
