<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Cesarean section remains one of the most frequently performed major surgical interventions in obstetrics worldwide, and the frequency of its performance in the Russian Federation is increasing by up to 1 % annually.Among the various variants of postoperative dynamic ileus, severe forms of dysmotility, which often require the involvement of surgeons and surgical correction, account for 2,5 % of the total number of obstetric and gynecological interventions. It should also be borne in mind that the issue of motility disorders should be considered as a preventable cause of changes in the course of the postoperative period, which, however, requires adherence to a number of “protocol measures”. Traditional treatment is mainly supportive in nature: early mobilization, intravenous hydration, correction of electrolyte balance, and nasogastric decompression are standard measures. However, these interventions have a limited impact on the early recovery of intestinal peristalsis. In this regard, the focus is currently shifting towards non pharmacological and non invasive methods that either mimic the physiological reactions associated with food intake and stimulate gastrointestinal peristalsis, or carry out this stimulation without enteral intake, but under the influence of provoking electrocavitation. The article provides an overview of these methods, along with a critical analysis of their effects.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>кесарево сечение</kwd><kwd>послеоперационный парез</kwd><kwd>неинвазивные методы профилактики и стимуляции перистальтики</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cesarean section</kwd><kwd>postoperative paresis</kwd><kwd>non invasive methods of prevention and stimulation of peristalsis</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">McKelvey A., Ashe R., McKenna D., Roberts R.
